Embracing Change at TRAA: A Leadership Transition
If there’s one constant in life, it’s change. After 12 years of dedicated service, Cynthia Martineau has announced her retirement and will be stepping down as Executive Director of the Towing and Recovery Association of America (TRAA) this July. Her contributions leave a lasting legacy – and big shoes to fill.
In addition, after careful reflection, Elizabeth Martineau-Dupuis, TRAA’s Director of Education, has also decided to step away from the association this July. Balancing her responsibilities while running a thriving tree service business alongside her husband has made it necessary for her to shift focus.
TRAA is pleased to announce that Bruce Bender of Ohio has accepted the position of Executive Director, effective this July. Many of you may already know Bruce from his work with the Towing and Recovery Association of Ohio (TRAO), and his long-standing involvement with TRAA. With his deep industry knowledge and a proven commitment to the towing and recovery community, Bruce is well-prepared to take on this leadership role.
TRAA President George Kuntz shared, “Bruce will give it his best to fill the losses. He has the knowledge and experience and comes highly recommended by Cynthia to take on the Executive Director position.”
Transitions are never without challenges, but TRAA remains steadfast in its mission and commitment to serving the industry. With a solid foundation and passionate leadership, the organization is poised for continued success in the years to come.
